The 60L Duffel

Shoulder strap cushioning is insufficient for backpack-style use. The straps lack adequate padding and are not designed to pull the weight of the bag off the shoulders. The bag also requires a suitable hip belt for support. Storage design is excellent, but true backpack comfort is absent. Do Not Buy this until improvements have been added. You will not be comfortable as a backpack.

I am so impressed with this duffel! I literally just returned from a long weekend trip and used the duffel for the first time - so writing this review is perfect timing.
The Colorado colors are just as bold in person as they are on the website. They are 'my' colors so it was an easy choice. This duffel compartments make packing so easy and keeps everything so organized.

Before I received the 60L Duffel I ordered the 30L Colorado duffel and so happy I did. I'm going to use this bag to keep art project supplies organized when camping. Both duffels get 5 stars for superb quality and over-all craftsmanship.

I got the 60L Oahu and the 30L Cape Breton for a trip I am actually currently on and these have been a LIFE SAVER!! I was able to pack ALL 14 days in just these two bags and were able to carry on both (wanted to avoid checking bags with the HUGE lines thanks to EES system delays)! They fit nicely overhead with more than enough room to spare; the 30L to fit under the seat on the commuter plane before loading onto the INT planes! The different pockets were amazing and could fit so much stuff. The 60L compartments especially, so deceivingly big!! I didnt bring a laptop but used that compartment in both bags for sandals and my trtl plane pillow! The Oahu blue is GORGEOUS and the Cape Benton was a perfect dash of color but otherwise muted greige color. I carried the 60L as a backpack with the 30L as over the shoulder, both got a bit heavy (especially the 30L when I used it for a weekend side trip and we left our larger bags with the hotel) but nothing we couldn’t handle! The only issue I’ve had with them thus far is the water bottle “pocket” for the 30L isnt the most convenient and sturdy, I’d probably just rather have it as a permanent fixture instead of a pack away. Also in the future a secret lockable compartment where the backpack straps are stored would be nice for extra safe passport/wallet storage (extra points for RFID blocking!) but just a suggestion!! I can’t wait to continue using these as travel staples especially out of the country where cobble stones would just RIP apart roller bags
