don’t snooze on this bag!

I waited way too long to get this bag. I was concerned that the tiny vik would be too small…but it’s not at all. so many pockets and hidden gems in this bag. I actually donated all my other back packs because this one is so perfect!

I like it a lot, but there are several areas of improvement

I came across this backpack and immediately thought it could be a perfect fit for a travel backpack (with camera equipment in mind). I do really love the separate compartments. It's a very clever idea. I gave 4 stars because of the following reasons:

1. The backpack straps pale in comparison to my previous backpack (a tortuga backpack). They feel a little like padded cardboard, rather than having cushy support. This is important to me because the backpack is often very heavy, and you want to have solid support.

2. I wish the front of the compartments were a little bit thicker in material/cushion. This seems specific to my situation, as I'm putting my camera in here, and I worry about the bag falling over and not having enough cushion to protect the camera.

3. The zippers to the laptop area provide too much resistance, and because it's on the side, it can take a little more effort than i'm used to to get the laptop in (mine's a 16in laptop, so it's a bit big, so this may not be relevant to everyone). But this can make it tricky when getting the laptop out during the TSA checkpoint, which is always hard when you need to be quick. I wish the laptop compartment slid out from the top rather than the side.

Overall I like the backpack a lot. But it isn't everything i hoped it to be, especially for the price.

I do wish that they made a camera backpack in a smaller version than this (like only 3 compartments) with a little more cushion. The compartments would be great for photographers.

New wound care bag!

I’ve been struggling to find an amazing wound care bag for years. I travel between my outpatient clinic, multiple nursing homes, and our local hospital. I have to carry a bunch of supplies but struggle to keep them organized. This bag is PERFECT! Also, I chose the sleek fabric so I can sanitize it between visits.

I thought I just gave in to marketing, but after one use, I am so glad I purchased this bag. Instead of a hard tote, I wanted something to use inside my camping tent. This bag keeps all organized. Ample sized pockets for hygiene, electronics, coffee kit, and books/crafts. I'm very pleased!!

I love the material! I go to places in Alaska that snow and are dirty and the material is way better than canvas! Love the compartments! Keeps me organized
