The Tandem Mint 45L

I haven't taken out for a real test but I love how there are grab handles on every side, plus pockets and storage options in every place. It looks like it will hold a lot and will test it out next month on my next trip. I do agree with another commenter that the handle snaps are super stiff - so it could be an area for improvement in the future but it's not a deal breaker for me.

Now everyone in the family has one. I like the canvas material and the fact that the one side pocket can be collapsed from inside the main compartment for more space: my Tobiq toiletry bag fits perfectly in the side pocket with room for a hairbrush and flat iron. Packed for a week at the lake in this with room to spare!!

This is my third Tobiq, but my first tandem bag. I love how many pockets it has and how much I can fit into it. It’s a great bag for travel. I love the straps for backpack option. Always impressed with the quality and space of these bags.

I have several Tobiq bags and for the most part, love them. However, this style of bag (which I have in both white and black) has one major flaw. Unlike my other Tobiq bags that use Velcro to secure the two shorter handles/straps, this one has snap buttons…and on both of my bags, they are practically impossible to get to snap. I mean, hurt your fingers trying to close. At first I thought I was doing something wrong, but I’ve had both my teenage children and my husband try to snap the buttons, and we all really struggle. It might not seem like a big deal but it is super annoying and impacts my use of this bag because I prefer to carry by the short straps and when they won’t stay together it is frustrating. If the snaps either worked well or were Velcro instead, I’d probably give this bag a 5. Unfortunately, I waited too long before the first time I used it so I couldn’t return either of them.

I have looked at these bags from few years now and ended up needing a daily bag to go back and forth with. This bag is beautiful and perfect for what I needed.
