My issue with diaper bags I've had in the past is that despite having many pockets, all the pockets are competing for the same space, making it difficult to get things in and out when all the pockets are being used. With the Tobiq baby bag, i love that everything I need to bring with me has a place. The organization just makes sense and it's so practical. I love the sleeve in the back for larger items. I can fit so much in this bag. And it's so much easier to find things in a pinch. I just used it on a recent trip so i can vouch that is is great for travel as a personal item on a plane and also for every day use. The backpack straps are surprising very comfortable too! I love that you can tuck them away and carry it like a duffel or hook it onto your carry on suitcase. It's so practical! I can't wait to get one in every size.

Uncomfortable as a book bag. May be okay as a duffel.

I have 5 tobiq bags and this is hands down my least favorite. The weight distribution and the way the bag hangs on the back (no matter the tension of the straps) is uncomfortable. Also, compared to the book bag straps on the 30L and 60L bag, the book bag straps on this baby bag are pretty flimsy and are comparable to those travel packable book bags that can fold into itself for storage. Even my kids' elementary book bag straps have more substance.

Unfortunately, I had to use the bag to realize this and cannot return or exchange it. I'd stick to the 30L bag if you want one of these. I now wish I had gotten another 30L bag instead of trying out this one.

I think using it as a duffel would be the best option for this bag. The book bag function can be a last resort if you want free hands as it will eventually give you back pain.
